It’s getting a bit cooler (in some places), but here in Nashville, it’s still kind of steamy.  What do you do when you have worn your tried and true summer dresses all summer, but you still want a bit of pizzazz till the weather cools?  Most importantly, not spend a ton of money on dresses that you will have to put up in a couple of months?

Here are a few of my favs this summer, with prices so affordable that you will get your money’s worth before the warm weather is over.

Target

I got this dress in burgundy, and it was so pretty, that I went back for the navy too.  The beautiful ribbed detail on the top is perfect. Throw on a white T and it is office appropriate.  I styled with a tan leather belt and tan sandals.  The perfect summer and transitional maxi.

Loft

Say Hello Sunshine!!  Every time I wore this yellow dress I felt like I brought the “summer fun”.  From the cute ruffle sleeves to the tie waist, it is everything you imagine a perfect summer dress to be.  I did a quick post on Instagram about deciding on the perfect shoe to wear with it during fashion week.  Add some tan boots and a cute jean jacket, and let the fall begin.

Asos

Even in the summer, this black maxi is always in demand.  This is my official, “Dress and Dash” outfit of the summer.  From running errands to an evening BBQ; this dress covers all the bases.  I wore it with Converse, heels, flops and everything in between.  The fabric is flowy and fabulous into the Fall!
