White is Always in Season

Hey guys,
My favorite color to wear white.  Call it ivory, cream, vanilla, creme’, winter white… whatever.   No matter the temp, you will find me rocking this “non color”.  So, of course when choosing an outfit of the week, I had to show you guys this amazing ensemble.

The coat is a past season Jessica Simpson shawl collar number in creme.  I bought it at the end of the season and held on to it all spring and summer, before I could wear it.

This is a similar version that I found on Overstock.com .   No matter when I wear it, someone gives me a compliment. It gives power girl vibes when needed, but also looks super put together and casual with jeans.

The sweater is new to my closet and was part of the Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific collaboration at Nordstrom.

Blaireadiebee is one of my favorite bloggers, and I love how she uses glam color choices to make amazing moments. Many pieces in the collection go from XS-3X.   A few pieces, including this sweater may still be available here .

Before you think that you don’t need another pair of leggings, I dare you to try Loft. Yes, they carry plus sizes now.  I was just asked to be an ambassador for their plus size line. Yay!!!!

These leggings are thick enough to wear to work, with a bit of structure, and a great front seam detail, that gives them a trouser look.  I Loooove them. Check them out.

At first, I wasn’t a fan of the white boot trend.  But, while in New York for Fashion Week this year, I saw them everywhere.  I didn’t want to try to march through my day on a kitten heel, so when I saw these boots on Tarmar (another of my favorite bloggers) I had to give them a try.

They are the Phoenix by Sorel.  The classy line, yet thick soled rubber bottoms make them chic and comfy.  I loved them so much that I went back and got them in classic black and the best grey suede ever.  The sizes ran out quickly on their site, so I have a link for both Sorel and Amazon.

Do you want jewelry info too?

  • The bracelet is an investment piece from Hermes.  If you don’t want to make that type of investment, you can find one on a designer retail site (but they go fast).  Here’s one on Tradsey .
  • I got the watch from Amazon.  The gold mesh looks good with everything.
  • I’ve had this ring for a while, and couldn’t find the same one. Here’s something similar .

Having a staple color to your wardrobe and mixing high-end designer with medium and street styles keeps your wardrobe fresh and the classics last from year to year making them great investments.
